Explore Our Gardens
There's always something blooming or fruiting in our organic garden. The morning goat milking is a popular attraction for kids! Try your hand at gardening during one of our morning sessions, and enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and flowers.
Highway 96 and the nearby Salmon River Road have minimal traffic and will take you through some of the most scenic cycling country in California, winding through river canyons and gorges, passing swimming holes and offering spectacular vistas.
We host a variety of classes and workshops in the Spring and Fall, ranging from natural history to organic gardening and acoustic music. We provide shared lodging in our riverside vacation cabins along with sumptuous meals prepared from our own organic produce. See our Workshop page for more details.
A variety of crafts are for sale, including beeswax candles, salves, tinctures, dried flower wreaths, garlic braids and dried fruit, all grown and produced right here on the ranch.

Blythe was an amazing host! We had an outstanding weekend on the ranch. The cabins were great, and the beach was amazing. The whole experience was better than we could have hoped for. This place is a gem. –Jon, Airbnb
Absolutely refreshing experience to spend a few days in this remote jewel of the six rivers national forest… kind and courteous hosts and incredibly relaxing hideaway spot laced with gorgeous views, landscapes, hiking trails and swimming holes on the beautiful rivers. It was nothing short of an awesomely rejuvenating experience. IK, Tripadvisor
The place is amazing, we were in a comfy little cabin right next to the river. A couple minutes’ walk down to a sandy beach where we could swim. This place is magical! -Eric, Airbnb
Loved, loved the Sandy Bar Ranch. It's tucked way back into the woods which was exactly what we were looking for on our trip up the coast. Blythe was great, the cabin was clean, the dogs are friendly, the view was magnificent. The experience was very peaceful. Would totally stay here again. –Damon, Airbnb
